Ive been working on poetry lately and I wanna know what you think.

1. Everlasting Love

Put a gun against my head,

pull the trigger with all your might,

pump my skull full of lead,

I will die with no final fight,

on the ground I'll be dead,

just kill me soon - kill me tonight,

because death I do not dread,

so get my head in your sight,

soon I'll be six feet under,

at last in eternal peace,

this is where I ponder,

if my heart was in one piece,

then I start to wonder,

and find that my love will never cease,

now that you know I'm dead,

you have tied your noose,

you hang it above your bed,

then you make sure you wont get loose,

in the note written you said,

that death you will not refuse,

you wouldn't mind a shot to the head,

but your gonna be hung like a goose,

then you start to fall,

when your soul comes to heaven,

you find out there is no mall,

but you are not heartbroken,

cause you see me standing tall,

you run to me with no caution,

I hold you in a tight embrace,

a couple kisses on the cheek,

then I'll lean back from your face,

should I kiss you or should I freak,

I let you know your not a disgrace,

love is where I'm weak,

I give you a kiss to let you know,

that I will always love you,

your my personal super hero,

our love will always be true,

we fell in love a while ago,

and no one had a clue.

I know you think I'm a lier,

I know I made your heart hurt,

but it is you I truly desire,

its you that pushes me higher,

because of you I'm truly alert,

it's you I truly miss,

I miss when we used to flirt,

I miss when we used to kiss,

but now I feel like dirt.

Dirt from the ground,

then who would hear a sound,

if you listened from down deep,

you would hear a weep,

from a broken soul,

that has paid his toll,

with the sorrow of his life,

as her worked through all his strife,

but he surely would have hid,

all of his emotional sorrow,

he would not have acted timid,

if he'd known you would be gone tomorrow,

“do not go” he would bid,

but you left a while ago,

for him it was to late,

he would always miss you,

no matter the date,

he love would stay true,

until the end of time,

no matter the crime,

you and him will always rhyme,

and that is truly your fate.

You broke my heart,

so I tore hers apart,

she didn't deserve it,

I was not being very smart,

there are things I now regret,

like ever making that threat,

even saying yes to her,

and some from when we met,

but I definitely still love you,

and I don't regret the stuff we do,

and don't you think for a minute,

that I have no idea – 'cause I do,

I'm not just fooling,

I know what I'm doing,

just not by experience,

but I wont be drooling,

I do my research,

I know a maple from a birch,

I'll know how to please you,

I know where to search,

plus its fun to tickle you,

and there's other stuff we do,

I'll have some fun,

but you'll have lots of fun too,

that night we won't get any sleep,

it's not from sadness we will weep,

the memories will last forever,

but there's somethings we will not keep,

I'll make you feel only one thing – pleasure,

as long as you're really sure,

you may be sore in the morning,

but in a few years we may be together in front of an altar,

saying our wedding vows,

everything decorated with ribbons and bows

then we turn and kiss,

clapping comes from people – rows on rows,

4. Distanced Love

why let distance separate us,

I wish there was a bus,

from here to there,

this just isn't fair,

I really do love you,

but theres nothing we can do,

except talk over the phone,

but I still feel so alone,

without you I feel empty,

I would run sea to sea,

just to see you,

I wish there was something I could do,

I need to feel your embrace,

so I know I'm not a disgrace,

I wanna hold you tight,

it would take all of my might,

just to let you go,

the time we're apart goes so slow,

when we're together I don't want you to leave,

it's for you that I do grieve,

I cant wait until next time,

we'll make are bodies rhyme,

I'll savor every moment,

when you leave I begin my decent,

soon my only emotion will be sorrow,

I kiss from you I will borrow,

you said your ready,

I know your a buddy,

I'll work my way down,

please don't let me see a frown,

soon our bodies will connect,

to me you look so perfect,

so if your ready to go,

we'll take it slow,

then pick up pace,

but this is no race,

I wanna enjoy every second,

I don't want our time to be ruined,

so when we're alone together,

our time won't be bitter!

The beauty of a sunset,

reminds me of the time we met,

thats a memory we share,

je t'aime ma chere,

the ocean is a beautiful thing,

it reminds me of when you sing,

I think the songs you write,

are as beautiful as a peaceful night,

I wanna be your knight in shining Armour,

please just forget about her,

this is all so new,

but I know I love you,

I want you in my life,

maybe as my wife,

you've got me to live for,

so don't shut the door,

at least not yet,

we've just only met,

there's so many good times to come,

so please don't be dumb,

live your life with me,

we'll be happy you'll see,

we will be together,

you and I forever,

so don't leave me all alone,

could you just pick up the phone,

give me a call so I know your all right,

I hope we never get into a fight,

it'll be worth while,

we'll take a swim in the Nile,

please put down that deadly knife,

and let me show you how to live you life.

it's not to late,

to hang out with a mate,

you still have time,

to earn another dime,

life may be rough,

but you've gotta be tough,

can you not see,

the truth behind me,

my words are true,

and are for you,

so you can always remember,

even after I slumber,

that it's not to late,

to change your fate,

you don't know what to live for,

until you've shut the door,

so keep it open,

and say amen,

but don't just die,

because you had to say goodbye,

there's always gonna be someone new,

that you can say hello to,

so don't be sad for me,

when I finally pay my fee,

I'll wait for you at the gate,

and thats not a debate,

when you cross the lake of a fallen soul,

it'll be I that paid your toll,

so you could cross for free,

and finally be with me,

we would be together,

you and I forever,

but it shouldn't be that way,

we may not be together today,

but why would we die,

and have to say goodbye,

to all the rest that care,

so don't you even dare,

think about picking up that knife,

because I want to be in your life,

down here amongst the living,

were I can hear you singing,

the songs that you write,

and still be alive tonight,

wouldn't that be nice,

instead of being a meal for mice,

it's possible to change our fate,

remember its not to late.

Don't do anything stupid!

Though the wind blows,

and the sun sets,

though nature's beauty shows,

and the trees take no bets,

there will always be evil,

but through evil there's good,

there'll always be an angle,

carved from dead wood.

When the words I Love You,

come out of our mouth,

we don't always realize the brew,

that will send them south,

if the devil is a foe,

then the angle is a friend,

for ages to go,

right until the end,

after that there's peace,

and the charms of a ringing bell,

but, all that will cease,

if you are dragged down to hell,

the devil is no god,

he isn't a saint,

he would only ever applaud,

if your love was so taint,

so take your time alive,

and make up for the wrong,

please don't take that dive,

come out where you belong,

beside me in the clouds,

not as the devils bitch,

join the happy crowds,

because your heart is so very rich,

your love makes me feel,

like a millionaire,

there is good in evil,

so let me show you where.
